St Martins Charities
St Martins regularly supports 2 charities: World Vision and City Mission in Brighton.
World Vision is the world’s largest international children’s charity, working to bring real hope to millions of children in the world’s hardest places. And we do it all as a sign of God’s unconditional love.
Poverty, conflict and disaster leave millions of children living in fear. Fear of hunger and disease. Fear of violence, conflict and exploitation. Fear that robs them of a childhood.
Our local staff work in thousands of communities across the world to free children from fear. They live and work alongside them, their families and communities to help change the world they live in for good.
Please have a look at our fundraising ‘pop-up’ stall on the 4th Sunday of each month for gifts, books, plants and home make cakes. If you would like to donate anything or offer some baking of cakes/biscuits for the stall please bring along your donations on the morning of the stall.
Brighton Food Bank: A team that exists to help individuals and families in times of crisis with food, home start up packs, and fuel payments. The team also signpost clients to other agencies that can help keep them out of times of crisis.
Our collection box is in the church foyer for you to regularly donate your non-perishable food items. These will be collected and delivered to the food bank every week .
